SF|HC - Lessons from a Cancer Survivor - From a Leukemia Diagnosis to a Renewed Lease on Life

Andy Kontz is a local, small business owner who was diagnosed with Leukemia at age 38. He shares with us the challenges he overcame while fighting for his life. His story of perseverance, determination, and grit transforms into a story of gratitude, grace and giving. He takes us the emotional roller coaster of finding the ONE donor in the whole world who could save him to the miracle of his daughter Addie Joseph being born. His recognition that he was given a second chance at life has driven him to shift his realty business from "transactional" to "service-based". He knows he is meant for something more and is making the most of it!

"There is a reason I'm still here, and if I didn't help people benefit from it, then it is a waste. I'm living on borrowed time and I know that." ~ Andy Kontz
